The Bonfire 2 Uncharted Shores Game Free Download For Mac
Despite its grim premise, unforgivable gameplay, and fear of constant darkness, The Bonfire 2: Uncharted Shores is a very adorable game. Players must help the stranded crew survive on a mysterious island after their ship is destroyed at sea. In this survival simulation game, you can harvest resources, make crafts and slowly collect busy cities. This cleverly combines the fears that arise with playing survival games with depressing building quality simulations, and combines it all with cartoon veneer that makes you feel personally responsible for whatever happens to your villagers.
If you play the original title, you will find that most of the core mechanics remain intact, but their perspective has changed radically. Your country is no longer considered a side scroller. Instead, you will see the action from an isometric angle. Following a new look is the ability to place the building you deem fit, giving you complete freedom over where you live.
The bottom line is, The Bonfire 2 is all about managing your resources. You need to track the health, energy and hunger of each population in addition to a growing list of natural resources such as wood, food, iron and coal. Everyone can be given specific tasks to keep the village running and you will find that constantly changing their focus is the key to growing your city quickly. For example, if you want to build a bridge to gain access to a new part of the area, it is beneficial to free your entire population from their current task of helping. Of course, this means you will run out of other resources and if you do not plan ahead, you will be in a difficult place.
Tracking all this is easy thanks to the intuitive and minimalist menu that gives you all the information you need without having to intervene in the action. You can even navigate the menu and do a bit of management work while the game is still running in the background, or you can pause the action if it takes a few seconds to gather your thoughts. This is an amazing user interface, and one of the best to keep in mind.
If you slowly grow your city during the day, the city will continue to get worse at night. Bonfire 2 makes it easy to connect with your citizens thanks to their lovely portraits and fun and incompatible vocals. Hoping they will make it every time it gets dark is an exhilarating experience. You have no direct statement in action – that is, you can’t tell your character who to attack – so you need to make sure that you have improved their stats properly and given them the best tools to help you succeed on the battlefield.
When I had a complaint about The Bonfire 2, the game started a little slow before it found its way. With only a handful of villagers, it is difficult to complete a manufacturing project quickly and it takes several hours for the fun to develop. You also need to create certain buildings to unlock other buildings, although there is no logical reason to do so – other than to help direct action and not burden the player. There were also some graphic problems – a few times I encountered wild boar running backwards – and patrol guards tended to attack buildings and gather in a group rather than actually searching on the perimeter.
Bonfire 2 far exceeds the expectations of the original title and raises the bar for all other mobile survival games. As a premium title, it is not tied to cheap time slots or frequent advertisements. On the other hand, there is no pause from your horrible village statement. Build your solution, defend from the horrors of the night and eliminate losses before you return to work. This is an exciting playing field that I will not be bored in the near future – although I doubt my villagers feel the same way.
